Shalom Everyone -

This past Sunday was the big yard sale at the hanger.  What a day.  It's been a long time since I've taken nearly a full day and just stood around and watched other people look through my stuff!

Actually - it was really quite enjoyable.  My grandkids had set up a corner lemonade stand and my grandson David displayed his tact at convincing people to buy his wares.  "Would you like some lemonade?" he'd ask as an older gentleman approached.  Failing to get a response he'd again question - this time a little louder "Would you like to buy some lemonade sir?"  With a nod the old fellow would politely indicate that he was not interest.  Quizically David would respond "Why?  It's good!"  As the fellow turned away toward an item that drew his interest David would turn to me asking "Saba - why doesn't he want to buy my lemonade?"

Reminds me of how it is when YHVH reveals something new to us.  We know it's good and it has value, but we just don't understand why everyone else doesn't want to buy it.  Oh - what we can learn from children!

New Moon is next Saturday night, November 26.  Elizebeth had tentatively offered to host it that evening, but we've not heard tht it is still on.  Angie and I will not be able to host it, so we'll discuss it at the fellowship on Shabbat.

Remember - next Sabbath, November 26, we will not be meeting as a fellowship.  Since some will be out of town for Thanksgiving, we agreed to "scatter to the winds" that weekend.  We'll assume our regular schedule the following week.

This week in the afternoon session, we'll continue our study of the book of Romans starting with chapter 2.

We'll be at Gladewater as usual.

Shalom Aleichem
