What is Ami Yisrael? The translation of the above Hebrew letters is "my people Israel". Are we claiming to be Jewish? No . . . but according to the writings of the Apostle Paul ". . . if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." Thus, we believe that we are just as much Israel as the Jewish people, and therefore have just as much responsibility to Israel's walk (the Torah) and Israel's Messiah (Yeshua [Jesus as He's known by most Christians]) as the Jewish people themselves. Our ministry is devoted to teaching the people in our East Texas area their identity in Israel and the subsequent blessing of realizing we are not 'Gentiles', but truly are the people that so many of YHVH's prophets have written about throughout the pages of the Bible. Because we believe that YHVH - the god of Israel, as well as His son Yeshua the Messiah are constant and unchanging (Hebrews 13:8), we know we can count on Him to fulfill those prophecies and begin to re-gather His people as this age draws to a close.
